Memory Lane...

I have had a few friends post this on their blogs, and thought it would be fun. (What I can't figure out is some of them are friends who don't have a connection...how does everyone do the same tags and such?) Hope you'll play!

MEMORY LANE

MEMORY LANE- This will be fun! This is just too fun to pass up. Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! I guess good or bad, but be nice!!!!!!!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Cute game! I feel like a blog stalker when i'm the first one that posts a comment :)
One memory I have is when you used to bring in little miss Emma to the office to see Jesse. It was fun to get to know you a little better and also see how Emma was changing each time you brought her in. She was so chubby that it was funny to see you lug her around in her carseat :) I was also pregnant with Kayden at the time.

I'm going to go way back. I remember staying at your house in first grade or so when my parents went to Hawaii. I mostly remember watching the Miss America pagent while I was there and also remember that we had a little tiff and I was so glad when my parents came home! Ah, the drama of seven-year-olds. But I, too, also remember all the studying our senior year. We had the exact same schedule, even seminary, except seventh hour you had cheer and I was a TA. I remember graduation night making our list of predictions about all of our gang. We weren't very good guessers. And then there is always the big party at my farm (something about a frozen bra?!?). And the one at Kathy's. I could go on and on and on...

Way too many memories!!! I am not sure where to even start! I guess some of my fondest memeories are of us cheering together! Those were some great times! Many others are of sharing each others clothes, mowing the yard, and Red Fish Lake!!!! Love you!

This game is fun. My memory of you is when you first started doing basketball you had a lot of drama with your stake (you know what I'm talking about). It was so nice to just talk to you and get to know you. Even though what we were talking about wasn't fun---it was fun getting to know you better.

Ok, so my first post was about graduation night as well. I didn't realize that Cindy had posted the same memory so here's a new one! Senior year.....Skinny Dipping! We made a list of things we wanted to do our senior year and this was one of them. We camped out in Holbrook close to Jena's house and we all took a nice little swim in the pond. We were all too chicken to jump in with only our bathing suits so we jumped in in our underwear. We finally got enough courage to complete the job. Did you know that Travis Davis knew we were planning on skinny dipping that night. He and a few friends search all night trying to find where we were. Luckily he didn't! Oh, those were the days.

I haven't known you very long but my memories with you are wrapped up in basketball and futsol. You playing futsol with us while holding Emma. Always with a smile on your face.

Trish, it was good to see you at convention even if it was for a minute. I hope you had a great time. I was so tired. I was so sick of eating out too! I was so excited to go home and just eat my Kashi for breakfast and my harmons sushi for dinner. ;) Anyways, I have memories of you and I but my main memory was helping you learn tread. It was so fun! Then watching you rock at it! Also our Lake Mead trip we took years ago and we all biked to the lake and I was so so so so hot! Anyways, I am glad I saw you! LOVE YOU

I remember sitting in front of you at church. You were the first person to come up and talk to us. :) Always making friends, your just a busy body! I also remember finding out that you were pregnant and that I was due 1 week before you. I had a belly and you didn't have anything! You were such a cute pregnant lady.
I love ya Trish!

The first memory that pops into mind was the day I was called to be one of your counselors in YW. Right after receiving the calling I saw you walking out of the church and you gave me a big hug...I was really surprised that you had asked for me! But so thrilled! And what an amazing pres you were! One of the BEST presidencies that I have ever served in! and now remembering things...I would love to get that yummy salsa recipe you would make and bring to YW, with the avacados. I make your carmel dip all of the time, and think of you every time I make it! miss those days!

Where to start? I remember playing "pageant" at your house and Kathy was the judge - we would even dress up and walk the walk!; the tent your dad would put up in the backyard that the earwigs would gather in; playing at your house when we were little and Kimi would always get mad at run home; putting curlers in Donna Gayle's hair; watching lightening storms out the sliding door in the kitchen; doing dishes and laundry at your house was always more fun that at mine!; riding bikes down to Angie's; playing under the quilts that grandma Kate had set up in her house. Just a few..... :-)

Ha...so many memories that year we lived together! How about camping out on the golf course at the Christensen's house...and getting woken up @ like 3am by the sprinklers that soaked us? Or camping out in our backyard and forgetting to tell Allen that we were going to be there, and getting woke up @ 5am by the sprinklers soaking us...again...do you see a reoccurring pattern here?! :) I still just laugh when I think of it. The other one was making sure you were up for class in the morning, b/c you would study or work until way late, and then not be able to wake up...even though you consciously were trying to get up, your body just wouldn't let you. Or being your "dummies" while you positioned our bodies as if you were taking an x-ray. Or...Jesse's countdown chain...or the Sunday morning you walked in w/ Jesse after having met Jesse at the airport 2 days earlier, and you had a ring on!! I have too many fun memories w/ you...that year was definitely one of my funnest.

Memories... My first memory of you and Jesse was the fact that we both had darling bald hubbies, and the cutest short hair!!! It cracked me up that everyone thought they were brothers!!! You were very kind to us when we moved into the ward, and I am thrilled to have a lasting friend! I hope this finds you all well! Love ya!!!
